You might have seen documentaries about hydrocephalus being labeled a disease. I am here to tell you that it is not true.
Hydrocephalus is a disorder/ condition that is caused by a blockage in the brain.
A blockage in the brain could be caused by a brain bleed, meningitis, premature birth etc that causes the ventricles to enlarge and swell with brain fluid.
